Personality: Sonya Tobiashi is a very polite and caring woman who takes care to avoid offending anyone under normal situations but when her family is threatened she goes into a rage and attacks whomever threatens eather Lucy Tobiashi or Gochiru Tobiashi.

she still has the competitive streak of a Karate Champion despite being "retired" from the Karate scene ((She still holds onto her Gi though and occasionally wears it alongside her daughter)) Sonya also shares Lucy Tobiashi's tastes in anime and also loves the same anime and character that she does...

Past: Back when she was 5 Sonya won her first Karate Championship and won several between the ages of 5 and 22 but when she became pregnant she dropped out of the scene to raise her daughter...

it was Sonya who took Lucy Tobiashi to a hospital and aided in healing her after her father and friend betryed her ((and of course promptly divorced her then husband))  but at the time unbeknownst to her she had a great healing power, as long as she knows someone's name and face she can will someone to come back from the brink ((Lucy Tobiashi's own will plus medical science though is what brought her back form being medically dead but it was her mother that broughther the rest of the way unconciously))

soon after though she learned to cultivate her skill as a healer and promptly graduated from medical school and became a full fledged doctor.
